FITBEAUTY Australia Launched Unique - The Pre-Workout Anti-Wrinkle Serum

He’s just turned 30, and this week Gold Coast-based entrepreneur Ben Jesinowski has launched business number four - FITBEAUTY AUSTRALIA – with a Pre-Workout Anti-Wrinkle Serum  aimed at meeting the growing demand for skincare products that address specific consumer concerns, which in this case is ‘gym face’ and the aging effects of working out. The idea for FITBEAUTY was conceived in May 2018 when Ben, an ex personal trainer (whose past businesses have included running his own personal training business at age 18, and selling innovative training supplements with great success), was working out at the gym. “I was on the chest press and really pushing it out. All the intensity showing on my face and my best mate spotting me said that I looked like ‘Benjamin Button – the old version, not the young pretty one’ and this got me thinking. I began doing some research as to whether ‘gym face’ was actually a thing, and whether people were even concerned about it. Turns o...

THE IMPORTANCE OF A PRE AND POST WORKOUT SKIN CARE ROUTINE

One may think that it’s time-consuming enough to follow a curated day and nighttime skincare routine, and now you have to think about your pre- and post-workout one? Well, yes, it will take a little more time from your already busy schedule, but trust us, it is more than worth it. As healthy as exercising is for the skin – nothing gets rid of all the toxins like breaking a good sweat, that same sweat can cause damage to the skin if you just let it sit. Therefore, taking the time to pamper your skin a little more is a necessity, rather than a luxury. With that in mind, we have created the most effective and time-saving steps, so you won’t lose a great deal of time on these additional steps, but will reap all the benefits. If, on your way to the gym, you simply can’t help but wear a little foundation and mascara, we strongly suggest you take it off before you start your session. Trust us, you don’t need to look glamorous on the treadmill, but more important than that, you don’t wa...

The Post-Gym, Pre-Work Makeup Routine

My personal relationship with exercise is the same relationship I imagine a lot of 20-somethings have. I always got a good amount of exercise as a kid (gymnastics, horseback riding, tennis…). But after college, it all stopped. Working  and  working out? It's too much! So I didn't. Until my boss started playing posture police and pointed out my horrible slouch during a meeting. Can’t blame him—it was true. Since then I made it a point to find a workout routine that works for me and my work schedule. Turns out that was surprisingly easy to figure out—it’s pilates at New York Pilates weekday mornings at 7AM. With that set in my schedule, I had one thing left to sort out: my routine  after  working out. In other words, everything I'm going to do to freshen up, fix my hair, put my face on, and run out the door to get to work. All within 10 minutes. (Before everyone gets grossed out about the fact that I don’t shower after class and pissed that this isn’t an article t...

Makeup at the Gym? Why Athleisure Beauty is Now a Thing

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: hitting the gym with a full face of makeup is not a great habit. You know the score: As you exercise, your pores and sweat glands open up to help the body cool down. Blocked pores can’t breathe – and quickly lead to breakouts. Nonetheless, the past couple of years have seen a host of established brands develop innovative new products aimed specifically for use at the gym, alongside the emergence of new labels directly targeting this particular demand. An inevitable extension of the athleisure trend we’re seeing everywhere from the high street to interiors, the most skin-friendly of these new makeup lines are non-comedogenic – meaning they won’t block pores. Among them is Tarte, whose gorgeous #hustleandglow trailer for its recent athleisure beauty line gave makeup fans serious exercise envy. Others take direct inspiration from gymlife itself: Think MAC’s recent collab with PUMA, resulting in a sporty sneaker...

A Seriously Good Anti Ageing Serum

Every so often, a beauty product comes along that seriously impresses me. This happened with  BIOEFFECT EGF  Serum. I was sent a tiny (2.5ml) sample to try out. Now, when a brand send’s me a minute sample or sachet, I almost always never try it – mainly because it gets lost among the other 106 552 432 full size products I have to try work my way through in this lifetime. My skin looks far more even-toned and radiant – A few people have even told me I have a ‘glow’. I’ve been battling with some redness and small, broken capillaries on my cheeks that have shown a SIGNIFICANT improvement with this serum. I also noted that my eyebrow hairs were growing a lot quicker than usual (not a bad thing). I put this down to the Growth Factors contained in the product. My tiny 2.5ml sample bottle lasted two weeks and I’m impressed with the results my skin has shown in such a short period of time. I called the PR Company and told them how impressed I was with the serum and t...

Diy Facial Oil Serum

Below are the oils I chose to use and their benefits Frankincense Essential Oil :   This oil can be a little pricey, but It’s TOTALLY worth the investment. There are lots of benefits to this oil, particularly for the skin. Frankincense oil is anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial. This oil is also used to support strong immunity and healthy cell regeneration. Lavender Essential Oil :  This oil is probably one of the most versatile oils. There are millions of ways to use lavender essential oil, but for the skin, it can help fight acne and scarring, and the smell is calming and improves concentration. It can also be used for bruises, burns, dermatitis, and eczema. Jojoba oil :   This is a great oil for moisturizing your skin. It absorbs well without clogging your pores. This makes it a great carrier oil for your face. It helps heal wounds and clears acne by preventing the growth of bacteria. It also contains vitamin E, which is a great antioxidant and ...

The Essential Skincare Products Every Routine Needs

With new skincare products hitting the shelves every day, it can be kinda hard to decide which products you need and which ones your skin can live its best life without. Since we’re asked all the time to outline a reliable skincare regime, we thought we’d do a step-by-step guide with our fave tried and tested products that actually deliver results. We can’t lie, our life (and our skin) changed forever when we discovered double cleansing – our fave K-Beauty trick – it’s so simple, yet SO effective. All you do is cleanse with a cleansing oil and then follow with a milk, foam, water or gel-based cleanser, depending on your skin type. By double cleansing, you’ll ensure that all of the makeup residue is removed as well as any oil, dirt, or bacteria that’s clogging your pores. This will also allow your next skincare steps to absorb more easily and penetrate further into your skin. You only need to double cleanse in the evening or after wearing SPF and makeup, so you can skip th...
