Let us clear up the question that trips most people up. AGHA Gifted Brisbane 2026 is not a public shopping event. It is a trade fair, full stop. You cannot wander in off the street, under-14s are not permitted, and cash sales are restricted to the final hour of the last day only.
That said, the list of who does qualify is broader than you might assume. Independent retailers and boutique owners are the obvious core. Beyond them, the doors are open to homewares, lifestyle and fashion stockists, interior design and hospitality buyers, and retailers working across kids, toys, pets, wellness and fashion. Corporate and contract buyers sourcing bulk orders are welcome too. If you are buying stock for resale in any of those categories, this show was built with you in mind.
The catch is registration. You need to sign up as a business ahead of time to get through the door, and that registration is specific to this fair. Having attended AGHA Sydney or Melbourne previously does not carry across. Brisbane needs its own sign-up.
Bringing a colleague is generally fine, though each attendee typically needs their own registration and QR code. Worth checking AGHA's current terms before you finalise who is coming.
Why does the trade-only rule matter so much? Shows like this depend on a genuine business audience turning up ready to place orders. Exhibitors are investing in floor space to meet buyers, not browsers filling a Saturday. Treating it as a serious sourcing trip rather than a casual day out gets you far more value from the three days.
For Queensland retailers, trade fair options have been thin on the ground until now. Getting the entry rules right is the first step to making the most of Queensland's first Gifted trade event.
