Food & Hospitality Queensland 2026 Returns to BCEC Brisbane This October

Brisbane's hospitality calendar has a new date circled for 12–13 October, when the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre hosts one of Queensland's biggest food trade shows. For two days, South Bank effectively becomes the meeting room for everyone who keeps the state fed, from chefs and café owners to catering businesses and retail buyers.

This isn't a public festival. It's a trade-only event built for people running the industry, and that focus shows in the scale of it. More than 170 exhibiting brands and over 1,200 products span food, beverage, equipment and hospitality tech across the show floor. Two areas are worth planning around specifically: the Producers Hub, where artisan food startups get real space in front of buyers, and the Roasters Village, a smaller corner reserved for micro-roasters chasing the perfect batch.

Co-located alongside the main show is the Café & Coffee Experience Brisbane, built around the state's café, coffee and bakery crowd, giving café owners a reason to block out the full two days rather than just one.

The learning program backs up the show floor with more than forty free sessions across nine stages, covering business, tech and live cooking demonstrations. Two live competitions add genuine atmosphere: the QLD Professional Chef of the Year and the QLD Pizza Championships, both run in front of a crowd.
