The Miele Compact C1 Pure Suction Canister hard floor vacuum is a wonderful vacuum for your hard surface and tile floors. In our search to find better and best vacuum for pet hair and hardwood floors with high performance, we run in to many that don't measure up. But the Miele Compact C1 hard floor vacuum is a great little workhorse that we think you will enjoy if you have a house with more hard floors and tile floors than carpet. Miele is a world leader in the canister vacuum game. But the real question for you is how will it help you make your life better?

Vacuum Setup

The C1 Pure Suction Canister Vacuum Cleaner is extremely easy to unbox and deploy for cleaning. Basically all you have to do is snap the hose into the canister. Next, attach the telescoping vacuum tube to the handle. Finally, attach the floor brush to the tube and you will be ready to roll. Or, just start sucking.

Here Is What We Are Less Excited About

This vacuum is Not designed for carpets. If you have a few very short pile rugs or a little bit of carpet, then you will do ok. But if you have thick pile (normal) carpeting, you need to look at a canister with a brush head.

The pure suction C1 is not designed for delicate wood floors. It will do fine as a laminate floor vacuum. As a vacuum for tile floors, it will also excel. It may even make our list of best vacuum for tile floors list this year.

While the C1 Pure suction isn't a great hardwood floor vacuum, you can buy extra accessories like a small turbo brush or a Parquet Twister floor head that will work for hardwood floors if you end up with that need at some point.
